Best immersive sim ever despite it's flaws, if you liked system shock, bioshock, or deus ex, PLAY THIS GAME. It's a tragedy more people haven't played it. Completely ignore the name Prey, pretend the title is "Neuro Shock" or "Typhon Shock".

Both the main game and the DLC are weird in that they initially repel players with an annoying difficulty curve and lame early game combat, but once you get past that everything just clicks and comes together beautifully. The game becomes unbelievably fun, there are so many different ways to play it and tackle the obstacles. I would honestly spend a full $60, but it's a steal on sale, zero excuse not to get it.

Mooncrash is an incredible DLC, they greatly improved the feel of movement with the suit booster dash and added a really neat melee weapon and some new skills. I really really wish these were all in the main game, extremely fun. The permadeath rouge-like elements and the RNG were initially a turn-off, but I ended up dumping tons of hours into it. Really cool idea and execution, truly one of a kind.

Overall 10/10 - a buggy flawed masterpiece that will never get a sequel, thanks Todd Howard and Microsoft
