a great game with a dying playerbase with only maybe 20,000 real players in game the rest of the players are trade bots and or hacking bots or idle bots.

Ive been playing since the day i made my steam account i actually got my pc just for TF2 during christmas since then i have racked up almost 5,500 hours in this game dipping my toes into comp and fooling around in servers and in trade servers its the best multiplayer shooter around and i do think it will stay around for a long-long time.

but most of the tf2 community has Stockholm syndrome for this game valve will probably never again do a major update like jungle inferno, end of the line, etc the community tries to raise awareness like #savetf2 but they hold out hope for something that in all likeliness never will come while valve can keep drawing money from cosmetics for crates and unusual effects and warpaints out of the community workshop (which doesn't fit with the game or looks ridiculous because its low effort or a meme or is a recycled effect barely changed but some items and effects can be good looking) for cash flow from the game that players will keep buying in the hopes of rare unusual effect#241421 from the new case
