This game is the definition of disappointment, 0 support, the community is largely toxic idiots, the game is plagued with bots, hackers and absolute idiots who don’t kick them.

It sucks because this game could be so much and on some community servers, which are seemingly dying, it can be fun, but the rest of the game is completely destroyed by valves inability to care.

I used to love tf2 but dear god they have ruined it, it feels like nowadays the only passable team shooter is genuinely paladins, save yourself the letdown of this game and go play paladins instead, or just go read the tf2 comics and ignore the game itself, you’ll thank me later.

If valve ever pick up the game again it’ll probably be peak but they’ve not done anything for years, have broken multiple promises to fix stuff and the one time they tried? They removed the ability for f2p players to communicate in the game, fixed the problem for a single day and then the bots came right on back only now new players can’t enjoy their experience without forking over money for an abandoned game only barely maintained because of the bad PR they’d get if they shut it down.

Tldr: genuinely one of the least enjoyable games in steam in its current state, if you want a team shooter, ow2 or paladins will give you that experience in a way more enjoyable package, if you want the goofy stuff, just read the comics and leave it at that, don’t touch this piece of ass
