After 9 hours, I adore the game.

As others have said, it feels very much like a combination of Dragon Age and Divinity Original sin.

Though I loved the combat in divinity the humor and story never grabbed me, and it always felt irreverent. This game however nails a much more serious and grittier tone and I’m so happy that they went this direction.

The story seems incredibly strong, the characters are great, and the cinematic camera for conversations do so much to draw you into the game.

The combat, though challenging, is not too punishing. It feels very much like playing a tabletop session, and takes a lot more thought and strategy than just piling your characters on top of an enemy.

The choices, skill checks and dialogue do much more to make you feel that you are playing the character you imagine than anything else that has come in a long time. The fact that all your choices can and do have consequences makes me want to play again and again.

It lacks some polish right now, but I haven’t had any crashes or serious bugs.

Overall, it is fantastic. I’m so excited to play this through again and again when it is released.
