Base game is fun. DLC is mostly fun with 2 major letdowns: a pig riding optional boss (Gaius) is either bugged af or bad by design. The last boss is an RNG mess, far too aggressive off the bat, can't even finish summoning your mimic and you're already on the ground dead or on 10% hp depending on build, or it slowly walks for 10s doing nothing, good luck; then in the 2nd phase, no matter what summon you have, it will ALWAYS focus on you.
If you aren't playing full tank it's just a badly designed boss.

It took me 3 tries to beat Malenia on my 1st playthrough, all dlc bosses (except gaius and last one) took at most 3 tries (Mesmer also took more, like 7-8 but was fun kind of challenging). Gaius with the cheese was a 1 try (30+ before that). Last boss with player help and no mimic or other ashes was a 1 try (50+ before that).
Took me over 10 minutes after finishing this review to decide if it should be a positive or negative, but since I don't know how to only set negative on the dlc, I'll leave it as a positive since base game is a 10/10.

*To be noted, I didn't complete the quest-chain that apparently gives you some summons, but from what I can see they die in like 2 hits so they are useless anyway.

Great Game, few hiccups.
Stage 4-20 was not intuitive at all, only level I hated (actually took a break at this one)
Stages 4-23 and 4-25 were longer than they needed to be.
