Genuinely tried to play the DLC with an open mind, and I spend the whole time confused and annoyed. It's definitely less buggy than Security Breach was on release, but I don't think that makes this story or gameplay decent.

I play for an hour or two, get annoyed at the gameplay and then turn it off again.

I don't know how many people at Steel Wool approved just yanking controls from the players to start a cutscene that just keeps Cassie walking while saying something like, "oh boy I hope there isn't a jumpscare," before making a horribly executed jumpscare. Let the player walk into it, instead of just making them solve puzzles to watch a movie! There often isn't even a route backwards in these sequences, why are you taking the tension out of the players hands?

I'm going to keep playing... slowly. over weeks, and only with a friend on call, so a torture to one is a torture to both. I may come back to amend this post should it get better. Somehow I still have hope to see what other people seem to see in this mess.

Having this game on Steam will finally be the push I needed to beat it!

This game has really good concepts and fails at following through with them. The graphics feel like the only good part because gameplay is stale. The story can't even save it, as it is always repeating the same points. Once you spend 5 minutes playing the game nothing ever feels new.

I spend a lot of times playing repetitive games, and feel thoroughly neutral about them, but this game manages to make it on my "do not reccomend" list because of the simple existance of the narrator.

You cannot go anywhere without the narrator commenting on something.

There is nothing inherently wrong with having a narrator, but it truly feels as if you never get a moment of silence in this game. NPCs talk in a made up language and then pause so the Narrator can translate. I am so sick of hearing that man's voice and I haven't played this game in over a month.

I wouldn't reccomend buying even on sale like I did.

2021 Review: Atmosphere is awesome, this game does a really good job building its vibe.

2026 Review: I hated Bendy for splitting its chapters up in the way it did, but it at least had the decency to have one price tag. You can't even play through all of the chapters as a smooth experience. What do you mean ♥♥♥♥ happens off screen between 1 and 2, but we aren't even playing an actual character? Get outta here man...

Please do a Plague rework, for the love of Gods.

Dead other then the deathmatch. Still good tho.
