This game is terrible. 1/5.
The texting game is terrible and moves the cursor. I get the concept but its flawed execution makes this relatively unfun.
Tee K.O. 2 is probably the saving grace in this pack.
The rhythm game is a neat idea but it lags heavily and inputs like to not go through.
Time Travel Quiz game is more or less okay. The rules were at least straightforward and easy to understand.
The brain game is... just simply terrible.

Omori is a game that takes you on a journey. It explores the safe haven you created for yourself. You constantly think back to your childhood, to the simpler times where things didn't matter, nothing weighed on you heavily, and time with your friends felt like it would never end. And yet... the play ends, the curtains fall, and you wake up isolated from everything you've ever come to know and love. You have choices to make. Will you be able to make the choices to discover your true reality?

Omori's story shows how the main character deals with the stress of all his fears. Visiting this safe haven, headspace, shows what the main character holds onto dearly. And yet, the cheerful and colorful backdrops of the world are all a facade to fuel your extreme escapism. The deeper you go into the story, the more you'll realize that life is unfair. That losing something important to you is just the first domino to fall, which cascades into everything around you changing, whether you like it or not. See how the character interacts with these fallen dominoes through the choices you make in the game.

Depending on how you view depression, anxiety, and suicide, you will either resonate with the story and deeply enjoy it, or you will stay for the silly banter between the characters and the wacky dialogue. Enjoy the humor, stay for the story, and beware the truth. It will break your heart. It broke mine.

I've finally gotten around to write a semi-real review of this game.

I've played this game heavily and invested a lot of time/money into this game. The base/underlying foundation of this game is amazing. The vast open world and the sandbox elements in this game make it such a joy to play. You can literally do everything in this game if you put your mind to it...

Which would be the case if the game wasn't plagued by such heavily horrible management by the publisher. Unfortunately, there have been decisions made on the game that are questionable to downright insane implemented in the game. The game is HEAVILY pay-to-win, and without investing a large amount of money into the game, you will find yourself months/years behind other players who have gotten a head-start on you. This makes it difficult for any new player to get into the game and enjoy it.

I honestly cannot recommend this game.I wish I could. The underlying game is amazing and fun. You could get lost in this game and find out days later that you've invested so much time into the game. It's unfortunate that the publisher is taking the game down a route that will definitely kill the game off in the west.

Don't try to come into this game as a new player. It's very difficult to get started, and is very skewed to whales.

Stood in a broom closet for an hour. Would play again. 10/10.
