While I do recommend this game I have one pain point.
The music videos that play in the background are pretty low-res..

So... what really drew me into this was the Danganronpa style.
I've never been a huge fan of gacha games but this seemed like the perfect game.
A friend of mine mentioned how this was basically "discount zenless" but I don't think so.
Sure, it plays kinda similar but I enjoy the pace of Tribe Nine far more.

Anyway.. I saw the reveal trailer 5 years ago and LOVED the concept.
Then the anime came out. Watched it, loved it. Wanted the game ASAP.
They sure took their sweet time but it finally released this February.
Started playing day 1 and even got a friend of mine to play as well. Bought the first Support Contract and played through that with time to spare.
It became my newest hyperfixation and for good reason.

The character designs.. the music.. the gameplay.. THE STORY!!
It all worked so well for me.
I got completely hooked on the story and loved every moment of it. The twists and turns they included were amazing.

But alas..
The game was down this morning for the usual server maintenance.
Totally fine. Online games have that.
I check the subreddit during work and see the bad news.. Akatsuki Games announced the End of Service for this beautiful game.
Not even 3 months after release.
They also announced Chapter 4 will not be released.
The other 2 Akiba characters planned for Chapter 3 aren't releasing either.
Hina's banner is down so she is unobtainable as of now.

We hope you will continue to enjoy TRIBE NINE despite the short period of time before service ends on 11/27/2025 JST.
Honestly? No.
Some may disagree with me but I personally don't see why I should continue to invest countless hours in a game that has a Doom Countdown above it's head.
It hurts to leave this game behind, though.

Offline version when?

I've read of people contacting support over at Akatsuki Games about an offline version.
I agree with that sentiment and will be doing the same.
Honestly, it should be simple enough. The game had no active multiplayer components.
It was basically already a single player game with gacha.
