A deeply heartfelt game from start to finish. The voice acting for Hazel (Adriyan Rae) and Lacy (Cynthia K. McWilliams) carry not only the story but the experience itself. Even running on it's lowest visual settings (I have an old laptop so I'm delighted I could still play) this game is lovely on the eyes...well at least when things aren't moving. Turn off motion blur my motion sickness prone friends.

The lore is as rich as the truly insane soundtrack! I just...genuinely there hasn't been a soundtrack that's grabbed me like this since Laika: Aged through Blood.

My only complaint against this game is the camera choice - I felt like I was constantly fighting to keep up with Hazel, but after a few hours I got used to it. So, give it a whirl and have a nice little crying session over your issues with your family.

This game has been haunting me for months since the demo came out.

Now a week since release and 30 hrs poured into my first save all I can say is that this is the sort of game that will leave a mark on your being for the rest of your life.

Its a game that is solidly made on all fronts, beautiful style, challenge that grows as you do, a soundtrack that will follow out of the Wastelands, and a vast variety of ways to play through it.

But, above all it's a game that rewards your failures and is at it's best when you shake yourself off and go 'One More Time'. Even if this isn't usually your genre of this game, please just try, its worth it.

A deeply feminine story that is as hopeful as it is tragic, I can promise you that Laika will be a game you'll never forget.
