I bought this because i had heard a lot about this game and good things. It may very well be a great game but here's a couple of things to keep in mind.

- You absolutely need a controller to play this game

This is a straight port from console to PC. Even the hints on the screen say "Ⓐ to pillage corpse" etc. This single issue made the game unplayable for me. Its hard to get even through the character setup screen without a controller. If you like controllers and have one this may be fine; personally I prefer the mouse+keyboard combination and HATE controllers with a passion. This game may very well have a great story and gameplay but the poor control options made it impossible to experience these features.

The graphics don't scale well to a 1920×1080 screen and leaves black borders around. Graphics options themselves are limited. For instance you can turn AA on or off, nothing in between. Even with AA on, the text looks jagged. The textures look nowhere near as nice as they do in the screenshots. This is not a very old game by any standards and the graphics looked aged and old on my machine. Skyrim in comparison still looks pretty awesome and it came about 8 months before this one did.

On my machine , the sound died in the middle of the intro cutscene and never came back.

I promptly got a refund on this game.

Probably the most addictive game I've ever played. This game calls out to the escapist in me and even just walking around in Skyrim not doing quests is a pure joy if not for the interesting happenings around Skyrim but for the beautiful views.
