I can't recommend this game enough. It's quickly risen to my top 5 games recently, as after years I decided to just sit down and beat it. And I'm so glad I did(shoutout to my good friend Will for inspiring me with his insults).

Tight controls, beautiful aesthetics, fantastic soundtrack, gripping story, tons of replayability, the game really does have it all. It's a bit tough for my (lack of) ability, but I'm hoping to get better. If you're a fan of Metroidvania's, or of action-platformers, then this game is a must-buy. It's a damn shame it didn't get mainstream attention, but I guess that's the struggle of being a hidden gem. Looking forward to the studio's future games. Especially a Valdis Story sequel ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
