I got around 30 hours from this "Demo"

They've begun to put QOL features behind paywalls. The Mansion, for example, has a vehicle workshop for a little under 1M GTA$. But.. To fully utilize it, you have to pay a monthly subscription. So if you want to be able to do Benny Upgrade, Add HSW or Imani Tech within your nice new Mansion.. you have to subscribe. Not a fan of hiding convenient features behind a paywall. I'd see no issue if they got discounted or even free car upgrades as opposed to non-gta+ members rather than completely restricting access. Sending staff to source material could have done something similar or even an increased price for non-members. The Vinewood garages makes sense. That's fair subscription only content. Maybe add exclusive Pegasus vehicles that can only be called and used by subscribers and NOT THIS QOL FEATURE PAYWALLING.


GTA6 Online is going to be a subscription based nightmare, isn't it? How unfortunate.

A nearly flawless game. I haven't even finished, but the story thus far has already made me gasp and audibly say "Oh, no..!"

The biggest issues I have with this game, is the absurd about of menu navigation. Digivolving, renaming and checking the field guide to what you can can Digivolving and de-digivolve into are all in separate menus that you have to back out of to get to the next. Using the farm is just as bad if not worse. I rarely utilize it because of that. It really needs a rework to streamline menu navigation.

The only other issues is the absurd cost of everything and also denuvo. But I suppose the former is the reason for the latter.

Bank busting, but absolutely worth playing.

Great Demo. I look forward to playing the full game but, I'm going to wait for a sale. Paying $100+ for everything and then possibly losing access to the game due to Denuvo for whatever reasons.. Just isn't worth it.

Steam 2026 Summer sale, Here I come! Or Denuvo removal. Whichever comes first!

The game is good. However, the limited time DLC has changed my thoughts towards this game. You can only legitimately buy it for a short time, but it'll be downloadable elsewhere for years. I thought Godzilla was a one-off, but it appears FOMO has become their M.O.

This looks promising. This is the general direction I had hoped they'd go in after 6. I missed having the small army of Bodyguards and so, I appreciate the troops. Very Bladestorm-ish.

Had this game in my Library for years now. Haven't really played in nearly that same amount of time. I'm not sure when it happened, but the game is full of micro transactions and passes now. So, don't expect the initial price to be the final price you pay without being inconvenienced somewhere somehow.....Maybe. I didn't have the patience to play while every 5 steps is another group of NPC tamers standing around to battle you. I just wanted to catch more Temtems...

Pass on this until there's an offline mode. If your internet hiccups, you have a 10 second pause until you can reconnect.

March Edit: The Key can be destroyed. No idea how, but it can completely break any quest-line that involves going to The Key. Without ~Commands, finishing Legacy's end would have been impossible. Looking for solutions to the issue, I saw that this bug has been around since release. I can no longer recommend.


It's fun. I'm having fun with it. But, there are parts that are absolutely NOT fun. Traversing planets from one point of Interest to another? NOT fun. Early game item management? NOT fun. Spending time to find mods to get this game running at 30+ FPS in the open world(s) to 60 FPS indoors, also NOT FUN. I have an aging RX 580, but I was still able to make enough changes where the visuals looks vastly better than it originally did and runs better on customized ultra settings with FSR2. So, no, Todd, I didn't need to upgrade my PC, because optimizing works.

If you don't have any interest in modding and you don't have a modern GPU, I do not recommend this game. It's ugly and will run miserably. Otherwise, this game can be fun. Too much fun.
Oh yeah, the price.. $70? Lmao no. Absolutely never. Get on sale at 30% off or more.
If you're a patient gamer, wait for the GOTY(lol) version that will come at a later date. Might actually be optimized and not so tedious to travel in-game by then. That was my plan until this was gifted to me.

(Dec Edit: I never had a strong opinion on ladders, other than "The top of tall ones look kinda scary..", but this game made me hate them. We need a stair update. Ladders are also NOT fun. Makes ship building limiting just to avoid them.)
