While I'm not sure if the gear on characters should be purely cosmetic or have stats, the gameplay itself was quite unique and fun. It feels like a more three dimensional fighting game, although this definition sounds obvious, it was my first impression of it. I was one of the people who didn't have much problems with lag or servers, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, cause I breezed through technical issues.
