It brings the horror back from the original RE games as well as RE7, then brings the action from RE4, and Resident Evil 5 & 6 and combines it into one beautiful game. From what I've seen of benchmarks on lower-end hardware, the game runs very well for a 2026 title with every other game running UE5 and lagging and stuttering like a broken mess. It ran very well for me too, of course, but that's not surprising given my specs.

Terrific game, love the gameplay and the combat. A perfect prequel to DOOM (2016) with a lot of Lovecraftian-esque stuff in the game, I won't say what as to not spoil it. By the time you beat the game, you're likely to be close to 100% achievement completion in which case, if you enjoyed the game, there is no reason not to go back in and get those achievements as it's just grabbing collectables and upgrading your weapons. However, if you want to 100% the game fully, you'll need to grab each drop of gold to get 100% completion on the level which is not fun.

Good game. Leon is a ♥♥♥♥♥ though.

Needs more heists and an offline mode, also a revamp on how XP is earned. Current way to level up is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'm not playing the way that the developers want me to, I'll play how I want to. Especially if the game costs $60AUD.

Very therapeutic. Game has iffy optimisation though. Also needs more weapons.

Terror Billy but without an axe!

Good fun and a good exercise. But I wouldn't recommend for above like 10 hours of gameplay. Gets boring, and can have some straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moments at times. Just wait for the story of this game to come out, hopefully that'll be more fun.
