The story is good, the gameplay is fun mostly for dungeons and abnormality fights and hell theres even a character that talks in third person and who doesn't like that?
Some deaths felt a bit needless since hey their character arcs weren't finished but at the same time the story already has 15 characters to deal with so its conflicting.
But what is the gameplay if you may ask? Well you draw a chain between everyone's moves depending on the best options to get sin and use that sin for powerful attacks known as E.G.O. if you're getting attacked by many people you can also use a defensive option of dodge, counter, block. However this comes at the cost of not being as fun to say as block parry dodge.
Unlike in library of ruina you can't pick who targets who unless its an abnormality battle so if you're getting attacked by multiple people just use a defensive option by tapping on that character's icon.
Oh didn't I mention the gameplay was devised for mobile and there is a fullscreen mode but I needed a friend to point that out for me
Theres also bugs like being forced to look at cutscenes twice when going down a floor in a dungeon

However the game wants to have a sort of endless update scheme so the story can continue forever, how do they plan to get the money?
Small issue: its a gacha game with no pity, hey at least its got 3% rates ig and some of the starter characters are the best so maybe its fine?
Another small issue: It has a battle pass worse than fortnites and I've played a lot of fortnite
Honestly I would of just bought new chapters like dlc instead of dealing with a gacha system but what can you do these days
How does the Gacha system work? Well you get things known as identities, basically versions of your characters from another timeline, one cool feature is you can take a character on your friends display "company" and get to use their support identities, only one at a time though. but each time you play a new mission you have to requip it and its easy to forget, yeah I'm sure that one person who's offline totally has unfriended me in that time

Am I going to still play this game? Yeah I'm way too much of a project moon fan
Would I recommend you play this as your first? With the sour taste of gacha? No. Just play Library of Ruina instead or even Lobotomy Corporation. Maybe then read the amazing wonderlab and distortion detectives and think about picking up this game, or pick it up just for the early player bonuses and then see if its worth it after playing the other games that are not after your wallet past a one time purchase
