Editing 8/16: Going to leave the previous review as is but after the recent patch I am updating this and changing my review to a recommend. The issues with saving seem to have been sorted out and the previously lost progress was restored along with that fix.

The game itself does contain some bugs that are quite annoying - like your party stops using skills if you ever look at another screen during a dungeon even if you go back to observing them - but the gameplay bugs alone would not have made this a do not recommend for me.

The thing that pushes this to a do not recommend *even if you are a fan of this genre* is that the game will just lose your save data. I played for about 5 hours only to receive a message there was an error with cloud saves. I went to the menu and did a forced local save and received a confirmation message that the game had saved so I should at least have my local save, right? Wrong - all data is gone no matter if I am logged into the account I had to make for cloud saves in the first place or logged out.
