About 7 months ago my account was hacked into by a scammer. I had $400 worth of tf2 items taken. Because of that, I will no longer be accepting any more trade request. My inventory will be put on private and I will ignore all friend request.

I really wished I knew at the time that I was being scammed and robbed. I put a lot of effort into the trading community for many years, building up what I hoped to be a profitable experience but couldn't get that and it probably won't happen again.

I'm too scared to lose my items. There's simply too many ways to get easily fooled. Don't be like me, do your research before talking to anyone that claims to be an employee for Steam. An admin WILL NEVER add you as steam friend to contact you. They will only contact you by email. Make sure that you have a 2-way authenticator. NEVER tell ANYONE your password and DO NOT CLICK ON LINKS THAT LOOKS SUSPICIOUS.
