The first game within the Harry Potter universe that got some kind of world wide success

When it comes to games within the Harry Potter universe, we don't really have much to choose from, especially on Steam, so that already bodes well for this game, since competition and better games to compare it to doesn't really exist. But this game still suffers from a few negative traits. First problem and probably the biggest issue I have with this game is that it somehow gets really boring after a few hours and every time I try to play the game and feel like I get into it and I'm having a good time, I always end up prioritizing other games over it the next day and then it goes back on the shelf for another half year, until I decide to try it again and everything repeats. I don't think I have tried a game that I like to play but that fails to capture my interest as much as this game does.

Now, I am yet to complete the entire game, so I probably shouldn't talk about its replayability, but I feel like this is a hard game to enjoy twice, even playing in a different house. All the main quests are identical, all you get for playing in a different house is a few new side quests and a new home turf in a different side of the castle. Though I heard Hufflepuff does have a pretty cool unique side quest, but it's still not enough for me to complete the entire game again just to play that one mission.

And like already mentioned to death by the community, this game would have benefited a lot from having Quidditch. But the main problem with that is that it would mean an overhaul of the current flying system, since it is less than desirable for anything else than moving around the map, so it might have been too much to ask.

One thing I really like though is the combat system, it feels really good dueling and when you start getting really familiar with the controls and your build, you annihilate huge groups of enemies in seconds, they designed it really well and they still left a lot of space that can be improved upon in the next game.

I'll still recommend this game, even with its flaws, but it's mostly just based on how good the combat feels.

quidditch would be so exciting! Another great mini game where you fly through hoops and throw a ball. Y'all would LOVE if it came out as whatever price because of how intense and full of life it would be!

quidditch would be so boring. Another crappy mini game where you fly through hoops and throw a ball. Y'all would complain if it came out as $29.99 DLC because of how lifeless and boring it would be

When I first heard they canceled quidditch this year I was thinking it had to be a joke because it was one of the things I looked most forward to and it kinda seems lazy not to have included it.
