Bury the Light deep within
With countless hours playing games, I hardly ever write reviews on Steam but it's a rare occasion and I have to write about DmC V. I want to start off by saying that DmC V is not just a new game to the series, it's a tribute to the franchise ~ previous games. I'll state my points about why this game is one of the best games I ever played and brings me tears of joy. Shall we begin?

Characters
Unlike its competitors, DmC V's Characters feel fleshed out. Each one of the character's combat and lore feels sublime. Even the secondary characters have depth like some other games' main characters in the market. You giggle at their jokes (even if they are cheesy sometimes), and you become sad when they are. Top-tier character writing and gameplay.

Gameplay
Devil May Cry 5’s combat is absolutely PERFECT . On the surface it's a simple system: There’s one button for melee attacks, one for ranged attacks, and one for your style/technique, depending on which character you’re using. Dante, Nero, and V feel unique - unmatched. I've had the most fun playing as V in the main storyline because, unlike any character in the DmC games, it's a summoner. You fight with your minions - companions although you have to teleport and execute the enemy. But for the game as a whole, Vergil is another story. You MUST try him. As a player who has countless hours on many kinds of games, he'll be the most amazing character I played and I'll ever play. Playing as him feels different, unique, and fun ~ above that it gives you goosebumps . Judgement Cut End's feeling is unlike anything else.

Lore
We won't know until it's announced but I have to say that I can't wait how this story will continue. The story's unraveling and writing are one-of-a-kind, top-tier. Every dialogue and every cutscene hits differently. Dante and Vergil's story is something else. I don't want to spoil that much but all I want to say is it's a journey, experience from start to finish.

Soundtrack
Thanks to its top-tier composers, the DMC V soundtrack is the best you can hear. From the title screen's music to boss music, from Nero's "Devil Trigger" to Dante's "Subhuman" it's pure perfection. But one of the soundtrack stands out; Bury the Light. It's a bit exaggerated but I think that it's one of the best songs of the decade. Its lyrics, singing, and arrangement are something else. Its homage to character, series, and the bittersweetness of the song is anything you've heard. The moment this song entered my life it had since forever been changed. Even if you're not familiar with the series, Vergil or you don't play the game, you MUST listen to it once ~ and get motivated. Thanks Casey Edwards, Victor Borba, and Vergil for making me motivated. And when you pass the threshold and understand the lyrics it hits differently, never mind, you'll see it yourself.

Conclusion
Because of the previously stated points, I think everyone should play this game even If you are not a fan of the series and not an enjoyer of the "Hack & Slash" genre. It's a one-of-a-kind life-changing masterpiece. 10/10.
