You will see how true that sentence is after playing Metro!
Metro games have the most intense atmosphere I have ever seen in a game. Story is also really good since it is based on a novel. I recommend it to play in ranger hardcore mod. It made me rage quit from time to time but I couldn't resist to come back playing after 5 min.

Metro does a much better job in capturing an immersive post apocalyptic world than Fallout
