Incredible game, 85 hours in and still in act 1 without finding any repeat content, no boring collection or crafting system to bloat the game for content, just straight up entertaining and well balanced gameplay that scratches the DnD itch perfectly. So much replay value too, I'm already thinking of all the challenge runs I will do after finishing my first playthrough. Hello, team of salami wielding monks, bonking their way through Baldur's Gate!

Reconsidered my review after they finally made the login available for Steam Play (= Linux) users. I am now unquestionably enthusiastic about this game. Recommend it a lot, very fun!
Great game, worked fine on Linux during early access with a few workarounds and I had fun with it for many hours. Right around its actual release an update broke it completely and irreparably for Linux users. I'd ask my money back if I could, because I would have done so if it hadn't run right away. I feel like they stole my access by locking the game into Microsoft dependencies like they have upon release. Huge letdown!

Even if there's some problematic undertones with this game, considering the base game only allows you to interact violently with the native inhabitants you encounter as a male white protagonist, I still firmly believe that the gaming community has been unjustly sleeping on this great game.

I'm a coward and play without the sanity option on, but I can see braver souls really enjoying that, especially in story mode! I've put 62 hours in already and I intend to put in many more. Definitely worth picking up this game!

Mildly frustrating due to clipping through the terrain, but that was only at one or two points in the game. The game brought me 3,5 hours of fun (didn't watch all the videos), absolutely loved it!
