Basically this game used to be good, it had a lot of DLC that made the game easier for DLC users but it was still playable with the base weapons. Now overkill have introduced a CS:GO type skin system that is a complete slap in the face to everyone who played this game and paid for its dlc.

Players spent so much time completing these crimefest challenges only to get given a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CS:GO style skin micro transactions system in a game that isn't even F2P! They aren't even just cosmetic, they also give you stat boosts! And at the same time overkill also made pretty much every good gun ♥♥♥♥, meaning that if you want to do well you need to get one of those epic weapon skins to make you a god heister.

Before this I wouldve recommended this game to everyone, its a decent game and was fun to play with friends, but after this none of us will be playing the game. Its is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move from overkill and they should be downright ashamed of themselves! They promised that the game would NEVER have micro transaction!

I thought overkill was one of the few decentish devs left but obviously I was wrong.

This game went from an unfinished mess to a somewhat decent game and now it has went to being a game that can rival train simulator in volume of dlc and CSGO for skins.

I would no longer recommend this game to anyone, its not worth it, overkill are such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company now, no wonder most of their decent employees are leaving. Yes you read that, key members of Overkill have left the studio.

Ulf Andersson and Simon Vikuld have both left overkill to pursue other ventures (Ulf is starting his own game studio and Simon is now freelancing, I believe) THESE ARE PEOPLE THAT FOUNDED OVERKILL! What does it say about a company when 2 out of 3 of the founding members have jumped ship? I'll let you answer that question yourself as the answer is pretty damn obvious.
