I played through the game twice.
I failed to reach the goal on time the first time, but still encountered an ending one could be satisfied with as their true ending. However, I couldn't let it go. I knew there had to be more and did not want to miss out on the truth (I had my theories). I was so pleased to reach the ending on time (technically two days early *pat on back*) and receive the ending I craved. I cried, I won't lie. Happy tears though.

As far as the gameplay goes, I enjoyed it thoroughly despite being frustrated a number of times because I'm not so good at platformers, rhythm games or puzzles to be honest. The second time I played, I turned on a few of the accessibility options which greatly helped me out.

The music is phenomenal and the art style is beautiful. The voice acting is lovely to listen to and happens frequently enough. The game is not fully voice-acted, our heroine has plenty of quips during the gameplay that you read to yourself instead of listening. I love her sass (try opening doors that you can't open many times).

Overall 10/10 would recommend. Will play again.

This is the kind of game you enjoy a lot while playing, despite the occasional frustration. Then once you finish, you think that is it, until months down the line you're STILL thinking about it. There is so many small details in the world that really enhances the whole experience. There are tons of side missions to complete, or you can just focus on the main story. Whatever your play style this game is a joy to play.

This game has been a source of excitement and hilarity for myself and friends. I have spent a ridiculous amount of hours playing this game and I don't regret a second. The horror elements are well done, and can keep you on your toes, especially as a new player. The graphics are beautiful and immersive. Player models and movement can be hilarious in multiplayer (try crouching and looking up while moving around, if you're especially sleep deprived you may laugh way too hard at this as I have). Building is time consuming and fun, my favorite part of this game is building giant castles and feeling awful as I look out at the clear-cut forest, but don't feel too bad because the trees can grow back if you leave the stumps and select "tree regrowth" in options. The sound design is excellent, especially at night when you hear the ambient sounds of the island and it's inhabitants.
I recommend this incredible game for people who like horror, survival and building. You can choose whether or not this game has certain horror elements. If you want a relaxing building/survival on an island game, you can turn on peaceful mode, or if you prefer the horror aspect, leave the game as is.
