So I've gone back yet again to a positive review after my negative review following the original 2.0 update. I still think it added a lot more micromanagement compared to the original release format that makes it hard for new players to get into but its better now. I have still never played a 4X strategy game as deeply as I have Stellaris. The sheer replay value with the number of customization options and play styles make it a joy every single time. That's not even getting into the modding community which is one of the most active and robust out there currently. If you love sci-fi space operas and want to be the architect of your own space faring civilization, this is the ticket.
