I came to Tiger Knight with trepidation. I figured its a F2P game so what the hell. In all honesty I expected it to be a clunky, unfinished and pay to win distraction and no more than that.
What I actually found was an innovative, fun and tactical game that you can pick up and put down whenever you want. I wholeheartedly suggest giving this game a try, lovers of strategy and fast paced pvp gameplay will love this title.

Pros -

fast gameplay
Varied Maps
Rewarding Tech Trees
Enjoyable Team Experience
Well thought out and balanced
surprisingly innovative for a chinese title

Cons -

very unintuitive UI
assive problems with PvP balancing (level 5 troops verss level 2 happens more than it should - should NEVER happen)
Needs more troop variation and weapon variation

Overall try this game, its free, what have you to lose, other than a lot of time playing because its an addictive experience

Before I start I would agree with all the posters below with their negative opinions. The optimisation, although improved from early release, still needs work. The loading screen is a painfully long process, and there are numerous glitches (not least falling through the map!)
The game is brutal. its unfairness heaped on unfairness. hunger and thirst as well as weather extremes are the meaning of life and death. Taming can be a long-drawn out affair; and will more often in not end up with a scorpion showing up uninvited and ending your attempt.
This is not a casual game, and the punishment for dying a more often than not arbitrary death is brutal.

Why then, have I voted it up?

This game is one of the most immersive survival games I've ever played. Never before have I felt nervousness as I scouted for a specific dinosaur, whilst watching my back for raptors. never before have I experienced the thrill of a hunt or the elation of finally taming that high-level argentavis. But alongside this is the technical advancements - by taming that megalodon you can reach the deep sea oil, and that brings you into the metal age...everything is so interweaved, its a wonderfully crafted experience.
Before long, your knowledge builds, you no longer fear whats around you. you build a base to keep your toes warm at night, and you feel safe. And this is where the real fun begins. You look around you, send out little scout runs on your flyer. Every trip to a cave, hunt for meat, taming hunt feels like an adventure. anyone whose explored the caves will know what I mean. one does not simply just enter the caves unprepared. You can easily spend a day gathering materials for such a trip - or more literally an expedition, because thats how it feels.

This alone, not even mentioning the stunning graphics and addictive gameplay is why I love the game. I have never experienced a game as well crafted on an alpha release before. this is only going to get better.

Yeah its not for casuals. But I like it that way.
