Probably one of the best games ever made. Even with all his flaws (that your mind just learn to accept after so many years), everyone that likes this game are so passionate about it, and for a good reason.

I dropped from the face of earth, never played anything anymore... And I still come back to this game, everytime I can.
I hate it when a update is lackluster, I love it when something completely unexpected happens.

I remember dearly my first matches when it became free to play, so many halloweens ago, each october.

Today is June 3rd, 2024. Everything I wrote in 2016 (23 Nov, 2016 @ 9:57pm) is still valid - the core of the game mechanics is still unmatched to this day. But the game is ridden with bots, and largely ignored by Valve, unfortunately. While you can still have a good time playing on community servers (please, for your own sake - use the server browser), quickplay is still unplayable. Today the community is running a campaign called #FixTF2, and while I don't believe Valve will do anything, I think it's fair that we, the players who still love the game, need to try something. So, I'm doing my part and changing my review to negative - if the game gets better in the future, back to positive it goes!
