The (as of writing) latest entry in the Metro series and this time, we're not just in Metros anymore. The survival aspect has been turned up a bit more, opting to use crafting instead of a bartering system to gain your effects to kill and not be killed. Built even further more on story and gameplay, stealth or guns blazing. The karmic system is back once more and will tear out your heart no matter the direction you go down. The DLCs will too, expanding the world we know so much of already that much further out. There are some gripes I do have but they're definitely more focused on how the game was treated over how it plays. Even still, loved every moment of it.
