The Art of Playing is a short documentary which tries to offer a meaningful view on indie game development in in a very limited time and ultimately fails to provide anything substantial...

The movie features short interviews / opinions from people occupying different positions inside the indie development world, however, unfortunately, most of the provided information feels undeveloped and unessential.

Lastly, this movie uses streaming instead of download, which is obviously a Beta feature of Steam. I started watching it in 1080p, after 3 minutes the video froze and the audio kept going, i tried again, and guess what ? same thing... Then i switched to 720p, this time i started having ocasional freezes for both audio and video, only for milliseconds, but it was still disturbing, so i switched to 540 which finally played just fine. And i have a 100 MB broadband connection so this is obviously not due to a poor internet connection... Just in case anybody is wondering - there are also no subtitles available whatsoever...

If you're very curious you can give it a try since "The Art of Playing" is free to watch, however sometimes the time spent on a certain product is more then enough as payment...
