Very steep learning curve for anyone looking to progress into the campaigns but becomes highly immersive and surprisingly gripping once you get the handle of it. My favourite part of this game is the Naval battles, the camera options make me feel as if I was one of the crew members sailing with an armada as we sail into brutal warfare.

Looking back now after over a decade it really does drive home the fact that: "They really don't make them like they used to..."
