In short, only get if you want an easy fps experience and dont care about story.
If you love Bioshock 1 or 2 you will be disappointed probably because most of the things that made those games awesome just inst here.

From best to worst, the aspects of the game:

Best part is the combat, but you are limited to being able to carry two guns at any given point which hurts the combat experience (especially for a bioshock game.) There are a few general categories of similar weapons that basically have the same purpose and then their variants which are borderline the same as the originals - so (for example) you could have 4 weapons that are all about the same in terms of stats and their role in combat.

The level design is pretty good and incorporates the skyhook well. The elizabeth tear mechanic is kinda cool too.

I played on the hardest difficulty and the game is pretty easy tbh. Great if youre just looking for a casual generic fps experience but otherwise you might think it too easy and boring because of it.

The "plasmids" are meh and most of them are pretty useless. Sure, they have their usage but you can really use two or maybe three and have no issue. Some of them also do the exact same thing just in a slightly different way. (Side note you can get through the game hardly using them, yes they are that inconsequential)

The story is awful. Its so bad, i cannot express this enough. It doesn't really make sense and is quite frankly dumb when it does.
