when i was 8 and i started playing games like 2k14 and bf4 on console, and minecraft on the computer, I decided to use part of my username as edy, in honor of my great grandfather named Eddie, who was a Jewish Austrian immigrant that escaped the nazis with his mom when he was 4. I mispelled his name because I was little, and have not changed it since. It was edy143 before, because 143 is part of my home address, which is rly stupid now that I think about it. I changed it to commanderedy when I was 11-12 because I thought it was fitting because of the heavy amount of fps games that I played, a little while after, I realized how stupid that was, and I shortened it to it's core, edy.
