Oh my god did i have fun.

So usually while i enjoy single player games, most of the time i just cant get myself to start playing them because i play other games with friends or grind some. But when i saw this game i immediately tried out the demo.
I had so much fun i actually bought the game the day it was finally released.

To get back to my first point, i do enjoy single player games but most of the time i play them a bit, forget about them and at some point i might continue. But not for this game. I played the whole thing, 100%, all achievments the first weekend after i got it, i just couldnt stop.

But now lets speed it up getting into detail

pros and cons

+ the game is really fast paced and has lots of ways making the movement interesting (wallriding/jumping, ledgejumps, hooks, dodge)
+ visuals
+ overall ambience
+ instant respawns without loading screen (yes, you will appreciate that playing the game)
+ interesting enemie concepts
+ music (in this case the perfect usage of music at certain points and no music at others)
+ getting different abilities throughout the game, and also the option to choose between more "features" makes the gameplay different from times to times, if you want it to

- the story:
dont get me wrong it is a solid story. But at some points it feels a bit predictable while also not really affecting the game too much. it is still decent, and fits the style of the game, just remember you dont play a game focused on story but rather on killing and movement

- the price:
well i enjoyed the game. also i didnt care about the price too much when buying it.
but overall 30€ is a bit too much for a game you can finish the story in around 10hours, without having much to do after, rather than achievments and finding some special stuff
if you are really into fast paced slasher games the 30bucks are probably worth it, but if you are not sure what to think about this game or usually want a story focused game i suggest buying it when on sale

- Replayability
if you are into speedrunning its great to try and beat your time, otherwhise you will probably only replay it if you enjoyed running around and killing stuff as much as i did, and I sure will as soon as i get time on my hands


To Summarize

The game is much fun, can be quite challenging and requieres some skill.
Dont search for a story game here, and dont search for something relaxing.
Other than that i highly recommend giving the demo a try to decide for yourself if it is interesting enough.
