Ahoy!

Puzzle Pirates is by far one of my all-time favorite games. It was my first MMO, and it truly was something special. Dark Seas is a revamp for that on steam, it is a new ocean (relatively fresh world) and has more PVP events that should keep the ocean alive longer. They also scaled back player requirements for certain events and worked to consolidating what type of events are run by the players. This is an effort to keep the ocean more together and that way it feels bigger, in my opinion it is a move that in time will grow the population because there will always be something to do when you log on.

This is a community driven game; the community is the main focus. The puzzles are fun and challenging, and there is a skill to it, you could spend 14 years (like I have) playing this game and still nowhere near master everything, but puzzles are just the icing that binds it altogether. The real pleasure of the game comes in making new hearties, joining a crew, joining a flag, etc. Meeting with hundreds of other players to accomplish something! Overall just enjoy the friends you make that will most likely be people you remember for a lifetime.

Enjoy the game, it is a gem even if it shows its age at times. If you give it a chance, you will quickly fall in love with being a puzzly pirate.

If you have any questions, feel free to add me. I am Hurten on Obsidian (the ocean that is on this client of the game). I am actively playing again after a rather long hiatus, but I still know a good deal and could probably help you out. Cheers.
