RE2 REmake is one of the best in the series although the remake part of this game can find some challenge due to capcom having deciding to go in a drastic change from the original that being making the gameplay and story more modernized for a new gen of fans who grew up playing RE4 and the following. While I'd prefer a one to one remake of the original and this can hold the game back a bit with misopportunity of content being added. But this game still has the DNA of the original written all over it, all be it replacing the original in many ways in the RE series. If you have the ability to play the original after this one it'll be worth your while even if it's not fancy on the graphics, story, and gameplay. Whatever you decide to play the og or REmake you will still have a blast playing RE2. It's truly one of the best in both the series and survival horror.
