Really neat little optional DLC, since they fixed the lag issues I now can happily recommend it for avid Abiotic enjoyers if you think it would be a cool base spot and want to support the devs. I've also been using the included outfit since it came out.

Only gacha I've ever been addicted to besides Dragalia Lost (RIP).

It can be a bit confusing to start, and you gotta hope you start when there's good units to pull for to make the game easier to play at first until you get the hang of the battle system. I started during a Walpurgisnacht event and got 2 really busted units, but not everyone gets that experience. A lot of it is just hitting win rate early on because its only non-focused battles and you can't choose who fights who but there is actual strategy and reasons to read your own and enemy units abilities once you get into focused fights. The game starts you with all the characters being kind of annoying imo, but that's to set a baseline for character development, and develop they do! The story actually gets really interesting, and ties into their other games. A mix of a depressing dystopian world, a bit of sh*tposting energy, and lots of weird cryptids. A great combination to be honest. It's great that you can play on both the phone and PC.


I'd recommend reading some of the more in depth reviews for tips and tricks to get started.

Seriously though, even though there's a few bugs here and there this game is awesome if you like halflife scientist memes and SCPs. There's a lot of content and they're adding even more

It's no Endwalker but the expansion is still fun. I look forward to seeing what else they do with the game.

I'd take the overall review score with a grain of salt, especially since ones like mine aren't counting in the score or showing my time spent for some reason despite the fact that I DID buy it on steam and have put many hours into this expac.
