Brighter Shores offers great humour and a delightful art style, giving it a lot of personality. That said, the skills never quite feel enjoyable enough to keep you hooked, and the game doesn’t offer the same sense of community or social connection you’d expect from most MMORPGs. It’s charming, but it feels like something is missing.

Although lots of players use the RuneLite client, I definitely think it's worth trying out the Steam client. It recently received lots of updates and the Old School RuneScape team have stated they plan on releasing more updates in the future. It runs very smoothly!

In regards to the game itself, if you played RuneScape in the past and haven't played in quite some time, you should really give Old School a try. Even if you've never played before, it's easy to jump into! You will return to Tutorial Island and you can re-experience those wonderful nostalgic memories. The Old School RuneScape Wiki is an excellent resource that provides plenty of guides for everything in the game. There are also lots of video makers and streamers on Twitch and YouTube that are constantly uploading new content to watch.
