A novice becomes a fighter,
A fighter becomes a champion,
A champion becomes a tyrant,
And a tyrant becomes a memory.

Steel rusts, spells fade, empires fall —
but grudges last forever.

I don’t fight for glory.
I fight so the enemy remembers my face when they close their eyes.

The shadows aren’t my home…
they’re just where I keep my weapons.

Honor is the chain that drags heroes into their graves.
Freedom is the blade that cuts it.

The world says I’m a villain.
But villains are just heroes with fewer survivors.

They say I cannot win.
They’re right.
I will end it instead.
