The classic mmo from everyone's childhood but on Steam. It's a bit grindy if you want to max everything out but that is standard for mmos.

It's the end of the story and all of the mysteries are solved, leaving little to the imagination. If you'd rather wonder what was going on the whole time rather than being told exactly what was happening then you could consider not playing this chapter (or the previous one) but I would recommend it anyway. The only part I didn't like was the really long 'fragments' section, otherwise it is good.

One of the better idle/incremental games out there. You slowly unlock new mechanics that add more and more content as well as helping you make the numbers go up. You can play totally free but there is an in-game shop that lets you support the developers in exchange for some items that will boost your progress a little.

A fairly standard jigsaw game. The artwork is great and I had no technical problems. I would recommend it.

This is one of those games that makes you wish there was a middle rating for recommendations.

It's not a bad game but it is quite short, I beat all of the levels in under one hour. Other reviews liken it to a demo and I agree, it's like a decent proof of concept for a larger game. It has some annoyances like when you respawn you are facing the same direction as when you died rather than facing 'forwards' and sometimes you get thrown off a moving platform in a random direction.

For what it is I'd recommend it at a discount. With more content it would be worth the price even if it is currently £1.

It's an easy recommendation from me.

A huge amount a levels and plenty of ways to set up your towers and traps so that many play styles are possible. Some levels have large open areas for you to set up mazes, others have tight winding paths that cannot be blocked. The levelling system encourages you to replay older levels at higher difficulties to increase your score, so you get better at the game rather than spending hours and hours grinding.

If you want a decent tower defence game that isn't Defence Grid then buy this. It's really got no downsides!

A good selection of puzzles and different game modes to add some challenge if that is your cup of tea. Worth picking up!

A decent metroidvania game. As you progress you unlock more and more options for combat but will probably stick to a small number of skills. The developers showed some attention to detail by having skill animations visibly change as you level them up which is cool. It's not particularly difficult if you try to complete all the available sidequests but the boss battles usually require a bit of thinking and skill. They aren't so difficult that you will get stuck for days. The story is okay. Nothing particularly special but not terrible either. It stays true to it's high school theme.

As a whole I would recommend it if you are looking for a metroidvania game with varied combat.

A decent third-person stealth game. You can choose to kill guards or sneak by leaving them unharmed. The main gimmick with Shadwen is that you need to escort a young girl to the end of each level, manipulating (or killing) guards so they don't see her. It's interesting but her AI is annoying at times, leading to frustration. You also have an overpowered time-manipulation power that lets you reverse time without limits. It's extremely useful when you screw up and want to try again without starting from the beginning of the level. Level design is good, allowing some freedom in the more open outdoors levels and being claustrophobic in the later indoors sections. There are gadgets that you can craft but I mostly ignored them.

I'd definitely recommend it and I hope the developers (who also made Trine) continue with more games like this in the future.

A decent arcade-y game once you figure out how to shoot. It aims to be a throw-back to the old school arcade games and it succeeds. Some levels can be a little chaotic and frustrating but in short bursts it is great fun and I would recommend it.
