The fact that this game is still around after 15 years goes to show how good it is.
Compared to everyone else, I’m a very new player. I remember playing my first match in early 2021, having no idea how the game worked.
We lost that game, but to me it didn’t matter, because I realised that I had so much fun.
Everyone should play this game at least once, even if you doubt you’ll like it.

TF2 is currently in an nearly unplayable state. At least half of every Australian server is full of bots and blatant cheaters. There have been no balance changes in 7 years, leading to the otherwise varied array of weapons being narrowed down to a small meta of usable ones, a few outright broken ones, and the rest being nearly useless. The player base, at least whats left of it, is delusional, bordering on insane. Given the massive number of problems with the game, I would recommend avoiding playing it until it is fixed.
