No inertia management (the main interest for a train sim). When you put the power to 0, the train stop instantly. So... useless.

Weekly forced updates. If you stay offline for a while, the game won't launch anymore. When you get online again it will say that it's corrupted and cannot update anymore.
You may also be logged out of your Microsoft account, which if you only use it for Flight Sim, you probably don't remember the login/password of.
During the multi-hour long updates, your GPU will be loaded at 80%+ by Flight Simulator for no reason. Just wasting energy and adding high temp hours to the silicon.
Updates are obnoxiously slow. Even with a 1 Gb/s fiber, Flight Sim will at best download at 25Mb/s.
If you want to play once in a while, you're doomed. Every time you will launch the game, it will require hours of updates, by the time its finished you have lost interest and basically never use it. If only steam could keep the game up to date in the background, but since Microsoft uses its proprietary updates delivery system, steam can't.
To add insult to the injury the download process PAUSES every few seconds to minutes, to unpack partial updates. Slowing down the whole update process. It should download continuously and unpack/install in a separate thread/process.

Overall an awful experience, quite incredible that developers can pull off this kind of ♥♥♥♥ in 2022.
