My mother in law put her next to youngest son and second oldest daughter in charge of her well being at the end. Neither had the guts or the ability to make any decisions including authorizing the use of Morphine to ease their mother's cancer pain. They made the woman suffer because of a power struggle between the two of them. My wife and I stayed with my mother in law around the clock because no one else would. It was heart breaking to see her suffering and lingering. She should have gone at least 24 hours before she did. Finally my wife and I around 3am that morning talked to the doctor then called everyone to come to the hospital. With the doctor in the room as well the rest of the family forced the issue and the doctor was able to administer the Morphine. My mother law was gone in a matter of minutes peacefully. My sister in law said her mother was allergic to Morphine so she did not give the doctor permission to use it. The woman is dying from stage 4 cancer. Wow such balsa
