The game is not bad for a Battlefield game, but it is one of the weakest of them all.
In BF6 there isn't a lot of vehicles like in other Battlefield games, which makes the game more infantry-aimed. The maps are boring, these are just squares with a thousand buildings which turns it into sniping mess and there aren't clear routes people are gonna take like in other BFs, like on Siege of Shanghai, there is a main way to get to all the points, with a few splits and so on and the sea, it's easy to guess where the enemy is gonna be. But in BF6 it's all a giant maze where people run randomly like in COD. People didn't run like that in the other games since there were actual tanks, which were a major obstacle in the games, but in BF6 tanks are a joke which get obliterated in seconds. There are almost no planes or helicopters, which make the sky empty. I don't remember how good the fights are between Infantry and Tanks are, BF4s and BFBC2 were so much memorable and fun.
The points themselves are really closed and boring for the most part. For example the oil field maps and the mountain maps points are just a small building in the middle of nowhere. Siege of Cairo and Empire State got cool points, which are interesting.
The game isn't good optimized, I get CPU-Bottlenecked even tho my CPU is better than the recommended one, i can only get 100 FPS with DLSS on lowest settings. This game should've been a sequel to BF4, but it isn't, it's Battlefield 2042 with COD gameplay elements. I'm kinda disappointed, people hyped this game a lot and it isn't actually that great.
Enemy visibility was a problem on low settings, idk about high ones. The players blend in easily somehow, i can't put my finger on why it is like that, but somethings wrong, in all other BFs, player visibility was much better.
The community is very toxic, even tho the game is CODified, everyone pretends to be an Battlefield Elitist and tell everyone to go to cod, tho I'm sure all of them came from COD.
Battlepasses annoy me in a 70$ game, that's just dumb, and the devs always try to shove phantom edition down our throats.
There are a few good things tho, you can uninstall all bloat (Campaign, HD Textures and Redsec) and make the game 40gb. The visuals are good, looks a lot like BF3 from style and colors. The gun play is pretty solid and the game was fun sometimes to be honest. The assault class got much better with a syringe and the ability to have 2 main weapons, the respawn beacon on assault is pretty interesting, tho I miss it on sniper. Snipers feel god-like. Engineer is pretty balanced. I didn't play support a lot, i dislike LMGs.
I wouldn't recommend the game, the core gameplay is pretty good, but the maps and low amount of tanks really kill the fun for me. I played a lot of BFBC2, BF4 and BF5 before, so this game felt like glorified COD right now. I really wish they fix the maps somehow or do new ones, which would play like battlefield.
