If you like roguelikes and enjoyed Motherload as a kid, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy this game.

I spotted this game when looking for a couch co-op game to play with my wife after finishing A Way Out (another great couch co-op game) and this game is wonderful. It was a fantastic experience that had many memorable moments for us filled with humor, smiles, sadness, a bit of disturb (some parts can be dark from the right perspective, one part in particular is humorously dark), and tons of fun and creativity.

The game play itself is quite different throughout the game. The first level you learn the basic mechanics that you'll always have access to, but every level after that has a unique mechanic for both characters. Often times you will have to use those two mechanics in conjunction, though they have plenty of times where either character is the only answer at a certain step in a puzzle. The game had a great way of forcing you to rely on the other player, but also making you feel equally as important to success. Overall, definitely one of the more unique and fun games I have ever played. On top of that, there are multiple mini-games within the game (we haven't even found all of them!) and none bad. Most of them are okay, but there are a few gems and none of them are required for progression.

We got 19 hours out of the first play through and plan to switch characters and play through it again after some time. I generally consider a game entertaining enough for my money if I paid $1/hour of play time. If you consider that my wife and I played together, we've already got 38 hours of entertainment, plan to play through a second time that will be equally entertaining because of the different mechanics for both characters every level, and it truly was a fantastic and entertaining experience.

TL;DR: 10.5/10 from my wife and I, well worth the money.
