Gameplay was overall decent in early access but servers have been completely down for a majority of the official release - as an Online-Only game, this has turned Payday 3 into the equivalent a 45Gb brick, and the requirement to set up a third-party account to play the game as a cherry on top is not a good look. Really enjoyed Payday 2 and had high hopes for Payday 3, but I thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the launch so far.

I have to say, I wasn't hooked at the start of the game - I would say the true gameplay and story starts at the beginning of the homa-mart tape , most of the beginning sequence is not at all the pace or feel of the rest of the game. Great story without too much left to interpretation, the story unfolds very clearly and organically as you progress. Didn't run into any game breaking bugs (or any really for that matter), and it was mechanically fun. While I don't see much replay potential, the first playthrough was incredibly enjoyable.
