Feels good to be playing a new Civ game. Already put 5.5 hours into it on the first night. Here is my quick review:

Pros -
Graphics are amazing
Game is running smoothly on my fairly old setup
Music and sounds are well done
Interesting selection of leaders and civs
Not minding the age switching so far

Cons -
The UI
No Ghandi
Wish it already had 2 expansions worth of content

If you like Civ, you will like this.

Elden Ring is a fun souls game that takes many of the great aspects FROM has perfected and presents them to a larger audience. The main difference is the open world allows you to travel is multiple paths rather than only straight forward. In many souls games you push against the hardest section and need to repeat earlier portions over and over to grind your level up, which is hard to understand when a boss or area you have reached in the game is kicking your butt.

In Elden Ring you have much more freedom in where you go and the combat, although quicker, is a bit different and easier than past entries.

Elden's biggest accomplishment is being able to bring soulsborne combat to a wider audience by changing this fundamental aspect of previous souls games.

The only worry I have is that they will bring the same open world aspect to all their souls games and remove part of what makes those games unique, but that is not a complaint with Elden Ring itself.

This is the most advanced blockchain based game on the market as well as just a damn fun game. It has colorful and upbeat aesthetics as well as an exciting soundtrack. For an early access game the development is consistent (sometimes multiple patches a day) and the tight nit community grows larger by the day.

If you enjoy EVE Online, or if you just want a game where you can have a real influence on the direction of the community or the economy, then CryptoSpaceCommanders could be the game for you. It is a deep MMO space experience with everything from item loss and permanence to space whales.

In it's early state there is not a complete game loop and players will need to purchase crates in order to outfit their ships enough to mine or fight NPCs. However, the roadmap is quickly progressing towards version .6+ where players will be able to begin refining their ore into items and participating in the universe wide economy.

CSC is not pay to win, but instead allows players to experience a game world with permanence including full item ownership by the players due to the Ethereum blockchain. This allows players to amass wealth and carve out a niche both inside and out of the game by developing deep social bonds that will eventually lead to guilds, corporations, and of course war.

Fun RPG with Shooter elements. PVP is not really cover based, but only because people are stupid. Expansions look to add much to the replayability of the game including repeatable, randomized missions and a survival mode. Game needs polish on end game mechanics and progression.

I have supported this game since day 1, even own a H1Z1 T Shirt.

But, I finally see the light.

Daybreak only cares about getting more streamers and selling more crates. Their latest update called Green Dawn is another Battle Royal Mode that actually costs tickets and only rewards people for getting first place.

They have lost touch with the survival aspects of the game.

Please DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME until they have come through and added survival content. Otherwise, you will find yourself bored and actually buying crates just to stay entertained. Which is just giving them more money to support this horrible Alpha/Beta/Scam.

Armikrog is unique in todays gaming world and for that it should be appreciated. The game is fun and keeps a good pace, but ends a bit too soon and without much of a bang. It needs a could more coats of polish, but overall it was very enjoyable.
