Size Cuma günü başımdan geçen çok çirkin bir olayı anlatmak istiyorum.

Cuma günü 567 0 494 numaralı bir telefon, beni arayıp adımı vererek benimle görüşmek istediğini söyledi. Ben de aranan kişiyle konuştuğunuzu söylediğimde bana, "Ben öğrenci işlerinden arıyorum matumailim bu deyip, bu numaradan dün aksam 567 0 497 no' lu telefona prof. dr. temel engin tuncer isimli kişiye 7 kere küfürlü mesaj atıldığını ve bu yüzden de transkriptimin izlenmeye alındığını ve hakkımda N/A duyurusunda bulunulduğunu, rektörlüğe gidip danışman onayı almam gerektiği" söyledi.

Ben de "adımı bilen insan benim bölümümü ve öğrenci numaramı da bilir; böyle bir iş varsa gelin beni bulun, şu an size yardımcı olamam, lab presi hazırlıyorum dedim." Telefonun diğer ucundaki şahıs (tahminen 45-50 yaşlarında olsa gerek) bana bağırmaya başlayıp "Mecbursunuz yardımcı olacaksınız şimdi sizi ODTÜ rektörlüğüne aktarıyorum. 497 yi tuşlayın." dedi. Ben de hiçbir yeri tuşlamayacağımı söyleyip bayağı bir bağırıştan sonra telefonu kapattım. Amacım en yakın bölüme gidip ilgili numarayı aratmaktı.

Bu arada tesadüfen konuştuğum bir EE öğrencisi bunun son günlerde defalarca yapıldığı söyleyip en son bir biyomedikal öğrencisinin 497 yi tuşlandığını ve CGPA sının otomatik olarak yurtdışı withdrawlarına açılıp yaklaşık 2-3 kredilik fatura geldiğini söyledi.... EE nin ve CENG in bu olayla add/drop haftasında defalarca karsılaştığını ve sadece o sectionda o gün 23 defa bu konuyla ilgili oradaki öğrenci işlerine müracaat olduğunu söyledi. Sadece aman diyorum dostlar aman, dikkat edelim bu çete işi...
