Aurelia is a certified good ♥♥♥♥♥♥' time is what it is. It has what you expect of a good ero-game: high quality art, animations, mini-games, all that jazz. That's great, huge fan. But what really sets an erotic experience apart are the scenarios.

Aurelia excels in providing unique and sensual premises and relationships without getting too focused on one specific tone or fetish. You get enough context to really enjoy the game without feeling like you have to click through 4 hours of dialogue to get to the scene.

I'll keep this review short, as I'm suddenly rather dehydrated. Buy this bad boy, support the budding ero-game scene, and don't click 'add to private library', don't be a coward.

Much like Tomboy: Love in a Hot Forge, this is a short and sweet tomboy romance. Sort of like reading a lightly animated doujin. Of note: this romance is established as we begin the game. A slightly unique angle in the genre.

I recently read a novel by the name of Reverie. It wasn't very good, but it was about a tomboy having sex in the woods and so it bears bringing up. If you liked this game, you'll probably like the book, and vice versa.

The world can be harsh, frightful, and sometimes even overwhelming. The fact that we seem to exist in the era of tomboy media is a reprieve from the weight of reality. Perhaps there is hope.

Reviewing an ero game is kind of weird isn't it? I'm too old for this, too established, I have too much going on in my life. But it doesn't matter, because Tomboys are worth supporting. Always.

This game is short, well animated, and gets to what you're after fairly quickly. It's not nearly as well written as the seminal "Tomboys Need Love Too!" but it is well ahead of "Tomboy Adventure Island". Please reach out to me with other titles worthy of comparison and consideration.

Early Access Review
For the King has a playstyle that blends turn-based RPG, rogue-like elements, and a Dark Soulsian learning curve. It is a game that initially seems impenetrable, however with careful practice much of the perceived RNG fades away.

That's not to say that you won't be screaming your head off when the enemy occasionally bends you over with a nice crit, it happens. It's part of the 'fun' of it. Developing capable group comps and gathering tomes for powerful artifacts adds tremendous replayability to the game, even if it only has a single campaign.

The classes are varied and have somewhat refreshing takes on the classic RPG roles; aesthetically at the very least. Often times you might start the game with a Minstrel who happens to gobbel up a bunch of magic gear and effectively become a scholar. With that said, Herbalists are all but necessary unless you go for a super cheesey strategy.

The art style is a simplistic cell-shaded type of thing, and it works wonderfully. Sound is somewhat forgettable unfortunately.

This game is a love letter to hard-core style rpgs and I love every moment of it. Furthermore, it is an absolute blast to play with a friend. I can't recommend the multiplayer enough.
