I’m a big fan of the roguelike/roguelite genre—The Binding of Isaac is one of my all-time favorites. What I’ve been craving in similar games is the kind of deep synergy system that Isaac excels at. Magicraft comes close, adding its own twist with a dash of Noita-inspired mechanics. The bosses are interesting, though late-game ones can feel a bit spongey if you don’t have a strong build. The story, while humorous, is fairly minimal.

As for endgame builds, they can be pretty resource-heavy. I recommend turning on spell transparency if things start to lag—it's a helpful feature. After 45 hours, I’ve done almost everything there is to do, so it’s not quite as deep as The Binding of Isaac. Still, I’m left wanting more—more spells, more challenges, more levels—basically more of everything, and that’s usually a sign that a game has something special going for it.
