The concept seems very fun and i'm sure the game would be a wonderful time if it wasn't for the unbelievable laziness in implementing any ability to play this game online.

As many will know you have two main trains of thought for most games, dedicated servers provided for the players by the devs or local hosting. Somehow the developers of this game just didn't bother with either and opted to have the host player use steam streaming to stream the game over steams (awful) service rather than anything native to the game. This caused huge amounts of lag between myself and my partner making the game all but unplayable because we couldn't coordinate. Hell even without the lag the steam remote play online option took us about 25 minutes to get to connect properly and recognise our controllers.

Was totally unplayable because of this glaring oversight. I understand aiming for the game to be couch co-op but this released in 2020. There's no excuse for a co-op experience that claims to be playable online with friends to be this lazily done in this day and age, particularly in a year with a pandemic that means i simply can't play the game in the same room as my friend.

Feel like i absolutely wasted my money on getting this and its a crying shame because it looked like it would have been so much fun.

For the record my upload speed averages about 30mbps, so not a broadband speed issue, it's insane that steam streaming service/this game somehow lagged this hard and completely shut down my twitch stream to the point my viewers said it was basically a slideshow. My friend said the experience on his end was that the game looked like he was watching a video in 360p.

(edit - forgot to mention the above issue was not in any way resolved by closing my stream. That got closed first....then the game 30 minutes later when we still couldn't play it)
