I’m a lonely man who has spent a lot of my life feeling like I don’t quite belong. I’m autistic, and sometimes the way I see and understand the world is different from other people. But one thing I’ve always been able to do is understand people. I notice things about others that they might not realize I notice. I care deeply about how people feel, and when I consider someone a friend, I genuinely care about them.

I love making friends. I love having someone to talk to, laugh with, play games with, and simply spend time around. Video games have always been a big part of my life. To some people, they might just be games, but to me they can be a way to escape loneliness, have fun, and connect with people when the real world feels difficult.

I also have a huge love for animals. They don’t judge me for being different, and there’s something comforting about being around them. Animals have a way of showing pure loyalty and love that can sometimes be difficult to find in people.

There’s another side of me that I don’t always know how to explain. I thrive in the darkness. Darkness has never frightened me the way it seems to frighten other people. In the quiet and shadows, I feel like I can finally breathe. It gives me a place where I don’t have to pretend to be someone I’m not. The darkness represents the parts of myself that I’ve learned to live with—the loneliness, the pain, the anger, the thoughts that I don't always know how to put into words.

But darkness isn't all that I am.

I can find comfort in it without letting it consume me. I can walk through dark moments and still care about people. I can be surrounded by darkness and still have a heart full of love. Maybe that's the strange thing about me: I’ve learned how to find a little bit of light while living in the dark.

The hardest part of my life is the loneliness. I can understand so many people, yet sometimes I feel like very few people truly understand me. I can have people around me and still feel completely alone. I want friendships that actually mean something. I want people who want me around, not people who only talk to me when it’s convenient.

I know I can be annoying sometimes. I know I can talk a lot, get excited, or want more attention than other people might expect. But underneath all of that is simply someone who wants to feel wanted. Someone who wants to know that their friends actually enjoy having them around.

I’m not perfect. I’ve made mistakes, and I’ve been hurt. I’ve experienced people leaving, ignoring me, and making me feel like I wasn’t worth their time. But despite everything, I still want to make friends. I still want to care about people. I still want to love and be loved.

That’s who I am.

I’m a lonely man who loves video games, animals, friendship, and understanding people. I’m someone who thrives in the darkness but still searches for connection. I may be different, but being different doesn’t mean I have nothing to offer.

I have a lot of love inside me. I just wish more people could see it.
